🌎 Triton College Hispanic Heritage Month Finale 2023: Embracing Diversity
In September and October of 2023, Triton College embraced the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic culture through an enriching panel event for Hispanic Heritage Month. This celebration was capped by a panel of Triton College employees from various backgrounds and departments. I was honored to not only help put the event on, but asked to participate.
Our panelists were carefully curated for their expertise and unique perspectives. Conversation touched on internal and external identity, cultural impacts of being Hispanic/Latinx, and educational opportunities that Triton can aim for.
